This is the Black Ghost Micro helicopter available from Firebox at £19.95 which is a great price for this micro infra-red remote controlled stealth micro helicopter. Its got the full up and down and left and right control functions that you would expect and is a great bit of kit for indoor flying. Buzz the cat! Annoy the dog! Circle the lampshade! Seriously these Micro helicopters are awesome value for money and you can have hours of fun with them. They are a great gift for a man or a teenager.
They are easy to fly but are not really suitable for younger children who will crash them more than fly them. These modern micro helicopters are pretty robust and will withstand crashes though. The only thing that very occassionally breaks is the rotor blade if you have a really bad crash. Spare micro helicopter rotor blades can be picked up very cheaply

The Wasp is a superb Micro helicopter which is on sale for only £15.99 ( Check out this Wasp Micro Helicopter link. It really is tiny - less than six inches long but incredibly stable and easy to fly even for a novice at flying RC helicopters. It is controlled via a two channel wide beam infra red link which is very easy to use. It gives you a bit over ten minutes flying time and then takes around a half hour charge. This is a very affordable and easy to fly introduction to Rc helicopters and highly recommended if you are looking for a small flyable helicopter for a xmas present and dont want to pay a fortune.

A PicoZ (picoo Z) micro helicopter the PicoZ Silverlit Insecta: Night Predator (Yellow - but available in other colours). Currently available for only £17.99 from a UK supplier. What a bargain. This Pico rc micro helicopter looks really cool and as with all the PicooZ models will be a snip to fly. It has that real insect look about it.
PicoZ micro helicopters are for indoor use as they will not cope with windy conditions. If you are looking for an rc helicopter for outside use then you will need something a bit larger and with more weight. Check out the other suppliers listed in these posts for information.

Chinook Micro Helicopter
We hadn't seen this before - a chinook style model radio controlled helicopter with two sets of main rotor blades. This is an unusual micro helicopter model and features tilting rotors and a twin trim system. This is probably not on for the complete novice as it may require a little experience to fly this one but it looks like a really nice micro helicopter and would be great fun once mastered. This is reckoned to be the worlds smallest remote control helicopter. It fits snuggly into the palm of your hand! THe flying mosquito has glowing led "eyes" that will really spook you out. Better than the 2 channel helicopters which are a little cheaper - 3ch helis give you much more control over your flying and allow proper manoevering. This is one of the best rc helicopters for indoor radio controlled fun!
